Change

You cannot be the same, act the same and think the same if you hope to be successful in a world that does not stay the same.

The world is constantly changing.  How are we to thrive in this? We MUST be willing to learn, un-learn and re-learn.  How often have we heard that we must embrace change?  Unfortunately, it is truth.  We must be willing to let go of what worked yesterday and be willing to learn new ways of seeing, doing and leading.  We cannot be in love with any one methodology.  We must keep learning and changing or our influence as a leader and a person dies.  Babe Ruth was once rumored to have said, “Yesterday’s homerun doesn’t win today’s game.”  It’s a great reminder not to dwell on the victories, methods or processes of the past – but to help us focus on today and moving forward.
